Joey Hess さんは、<a href="$(HOME)/devel/debian-installer/">debian-installer</a>
を異なるアーキテクチャにおいてもリモートからネットワーク経由でテストできるようにした、と<a
href="http://kitenet.net/~joey/blog/entry/_and_all_through_the_house-2004-10-28-03-15.html">\

<p><strong>配布可能なファームウェアの探索</strong>。
<a href="http://www.openbsd.org/">OpenBSD</a> で有名な Theo de Raadt さんは、
無線 LAN カードのファームウェアを許容できるライセンスの下で配布するよう、OpenBSD
が Texas Instruments と交渉した<a

<p><strong>Alioth でのプロジェクトの命名規則</strong>。
Marcelo E. Magallon さんは、<a href="http://alioth.debian.org/">Alioth</a>
におけるプロジェクトの命名にポリシーがあるのに<a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2004/11/msg00113.html">気づきました</a>。
他の開発者とパッケージを共同でメンテナンスするのに利用するパッケージリポジトリは、
"pkg-" というプレフィックスを付けるよう求められています。Roland Mas さんは、
Debian のパッケージング用途に使われるプロジェクトと、Aliothを『「開発元」
コードのメインリポジトリ』としているプロジェクトとを区別するためにも必要になる、
と付け加えました。</p>

<p><strong>フリードキュメンテーションライセンス</strong>。
Jonathan Corbet さんは、フリードキュメンテーションライセンスの選択肢として、GNU
<a href="http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html">Free Documentation License</a>
(FDL)、<a href="http://opencontent.org/openpub/">Open Publication License</a>、
そして 2 つの <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/">Creative</a> <a
href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/">Commons</a> ライセンスを<a
href="http://lwn.net/Articles/108250/">レビューしました</a>。彼は、ドキュメントは BSD

Jorrit Waalboer さんは、Debian GNU/Linux を RAID 1 のディスクにインストールする際の<a

インストーラとして <a href="http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/">Knoppix</a>
