developer machines</a> contains the most accurate information about the
sponsors of Debian machines.</p>

<p>The following organizations have donated equipment to Debian:</p>

      <a href="http://www.novare.net/">Novare International</a>)
      donated the master system (used for BTS, mail, and other things) and
      the mailing list server for Debian, and has provided continuous upgrades
      for these machines when they were necessary.

      (now known as <a href="http://www.vasoftware.com/">VA Software</a>)
      donated the hardware used for
      <a href="https://www.debian.org/">www.debian.org</a> and

      major upgrades to those machines, along with
      several other machines for developers.

      disk

      system which is being used to port Debian to that architecture.

      provided an Alpha machine used to port Debian to that architecture.

      which powers the internal archive system, and an additional UltraSPARC
      machine used to port Debian to that architecture.
