+
+<P>Debian είναι το κωδικό όνομα του έργου, και Debian GNU/Linux είναι το
+όνομα της διανομής που δημιουργούμε. Για να μπορούμε να διαχειριζόμαστε δωρεές
+χρημάτων, έχουμε δημιουργήσει έναν μη κερδοσκοπικό οργανισμό,
+<a href="http://www.spi-inc.org/">Software in the Public Interest</a>.

+<P>Αν και αρχικά το ολο έργο δημιουργήθηκε απο εθελοντές απο όλο τον κόσμο,
+το Debian έχει έξοδα τα οποία, για ένα μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα, διέθεταν απο
+το προσωπικό τους εισόδημα οι εθελοντές. Τα έξοδα αυτά περιλαμβάνουν την
+καταχώρηση του ονόματος debian.org , την κοπή CD's για το έλεγχο των νέων 
+εκδόσεων, ταξιδιωτικά έξοδα για την συμμετοχή σε συνέδρια , κλπ.

+<P>Πολλές απο τις δωρεές προέρχονται απο ευγνώμωνες χρήστες.
+Όλες οι δωρεές είναι ευπρόσδεκτες, και ειδικότερα εάν προέρχονται απο εταιρίες
+οι οποίες βγάζουν χρήματα μέσω του Debian όπως πχ (κατασκευαστές CD,
+εταιρίες παροχής υπηρεσιών, ή ακόμα και εταιρίες που βασίζονται στο Debian
+για τις καθημερινές τους ανάγκες) και επιθυμούν να συνεισφέρουν ένα
+ποσοστό απο τα κέρδη τους για να βοηθήσουν το Debian GNU/Linux να γίνει
+το καλύτερο λειτουργικό σύστημα που μπορεί .

+δυνατό, αυτή τη στιγμή να γίνονται αγορές και συντήρηση σε εξοπλισμό απο
+υπολογιστές και δικτυακές συνδέσεις. Συμπερασματικά λοιπόν βασιζόμαστε στις
+δωρεές υλικού και υπηρεσιών απο εταιρίες και πανεπιστήμια για να είναι
+συνδεδεμένο το Debian με τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο.

+<P>Αν η εταιρία σας διαθέτει εξοπλισμό που δεν χρησιμοποιείται ή περιφερειακά
+(hard drives, SCSI controllers, network cards, κλπ) τα οποία απλά περιφέρονται
