<p>一般決議は Debian プロジェクト内の重要な基盤です。過去数年で、
一部の決議についての議論や投票の過程で問題がいくつか出てきましたが、
一般決議の提案や修正案に対する支持者の数 (seconds)
を変更することがそういった問題を解決するための支援になるという証拠は何もありません。
それどころか、一般決議や修正案を提案するのが困難になることで、
不完全な決議の改善や有益な選択肢を投票に加えることが困難になるかもしれません。</p>
<p>したがって Debian プロジェクトは、一般決議の提案や修正案、
及び委任された人の決定に対する上書きに対する支持者
(seconding) に関する現在の要件を再び支持する。</p>
